Perfect location on Musky Bay on Lake Belle Taine. Hosts are great cabins are neat and clean. Cabins are in the process being upgraded. We have stayed here on many different trips up north and plan on coming back again.
We stayed for 4 days with our granddaughters in June 2024. We had a great time. The granddaughters loved all the activities. They used the paddle boat, paddle board, and kayaks. They loved the lily pad. The beach could use a little sprucing up, but that didn't stop us from having a good time. We road right from the property with our side x side to the Paul Bunyon State Forest 2 days. Spent a day in nearby Park Rapids also. There is a great restuarant right there in Nevis that we ate supper one night. Location was perfect for us. Thinking of bringing the whole family sometime.
Family and I have been coming to this resort for many years but this is the first time under the new ownership. This trip only a buddy and I were able to come and we stayed in cabin number six which was wonderful. There are many upgrades to the resort. The magnificent beauty is the same but the greatest blessing of our trip was the kindness of the ownership who came to our rescue when our boat plans fell through. They saved the day and the trip for us. I'm not ashamed to say they were a "Godsend" for us. They and the trip were wonderful!
We and two other couples booked 3 cabins for 3 days in mid September. The setting is beautiful, the cabins are simple but newly remodeled and immaculately cleaned. We used the fire pit every evening because it is protected from the wind by a stone wall. The owners were very helpful and responded quickly to our requests. The boat and motor were very reasonable and the fishing was really good. We are definitely coming back
Last year labor day weekend we rented a couple cabins for family. Cabins were immaculately clean. Had wifi and paddle boards. And lilly pad, kayaks, etc, huge sandbox for little ones. New owners are amazing. They worked very hard to make sure everything is perfect for us. And very nice, you feel like they are your new best friends new friends as soon as you met them. Especially Kaye
We had our family reunion here which was so perfect. Each family had their own cabin and we could all hang out on the lawn together. The heartland trail is steps away- we walked to town every morning for coffee. There is a sauna on property with a great view of the lake! I don’t think you can beat this spot for getting your family together while giving everyone privacy as well!! The cabins are situated on a bay of the lake so there’s low boat traffic and the kids can safely swim.
Great place!!! So much fun. Clean cabins and great hosts! Will definitely stay again!
